Cooling Installation, Repair and Maintenance
At Tyler’s Heating & Cooling, we work with air conditioners as well. It can swelter in the summer, especially when the humidity rises. You’ll appreciate having a cool home to escape to when it gets too hot outside. We have experience installing a variety of air conditioning systems, including ductless mini-splits. If you don’t know what kind of unit to purchase, we can go over your options with you.
As you come to a decision, you’ll want to keep several factors in mind, including:
- Cooling capacity
- Energy efficiency
- Type of system (ductless or ducted)
- Budget
The industry uses BTUs (British Thermal Units) to measure cooling capacity. Larger homes require units with more BTUs and vice versa. Note that 12,000 BTUs equates to 1 ton of capacity. You may find that your home needs a 1.5-ton or a 2.0-ton unit.
You might want a new system with different cooling zones. If you already have an AC in place but need to get it checked out, our team can take care of that. When situations require repairs, we handle them efficiently. We also offer tune-ups, so you can feel confident about your AC’s ability to cool your home effectively.
